It is our distinct honor to serve as the lead corporate sponsor of the 35th Annual National Memorial Day Concert, being held on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, May 26 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. The concert brings all Americans together in remembrance and gratitude for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, and pays tribute to veterans, active-duty service members and military families.

Face the Fight

Simply put, the realities surrounding veteran suicide are shocking. Currently, the veteran suicide rate is 71.8% higher than that of non-veteran adults. That’s why Lockheed Martin is joining Face the Fight, an unprecedented coalition of more than 110 corporations, foundations, nonprofit and veteran-focused organizations joined together to raise awareness and support for veteran suicide prevention.

Founded by USAA, Face the Fight’s mission is aimed at breaking the stigmas surrounding suicide within the military community and to create open conversation and support around the topic.

We're committed to investing in crucial programs aimed at helping provide resources and fostering hope for so many who are struggling and seeking help, and we stand with veterans, ensuring they never face the fight alone. 

 

Rebuilding Together

Affording peace of mind to a veteran and their family is priceless, and our employees have gotten to do just that.   

We've teamed up with local chapters of the nonprofit organizationRebuilding Together, through their Veterans at Home program, to provide critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to ensure safer and healthier living conditions for veterans.   

Since launching a national partnership in 2022, Lockheed Martin volunteers have supported more than 50 home rebuild and community center renovation projects in communities throughout the U.S.
